Lotus Centre

The Lotus Centre is definitely my favourite place in Hobart. In the middle of a busy day in the city, the Centre is like an oasis of peace and calm. I attend the public Open Heart Meditations whenever I get the chance, but I've also had nice experiences with some of the different practitioners who work in the building, as well as attending the yoga classes on the top floor.

The building has a very unique feeling - tranquil, beautiful and very welcoming. I would encourage people to take advantage of the donation-based daily meditations and also to try out some of the different modalities on offer: yoga, massage, shiatsu, chinese medicine, naturopathy, reflexology, reiki. The staff are friendly and helpful, and you can go down into the bookshop downstairs (Babylon) afterwards and browse the books at your leisure. I love it!
